The quick sand stand or the Wigston Wanderers Riveria



Wigston Wanderers were cursing their luck yday as the new beach stand at the Mara Oval received some bad press. Several of the spectators had difficulties leaving their sitting secondary to the soft sand. It is now now quite lovely by the KnightonOval fans as "The Quick Sand Stand"

Spokesman for the Big WW just said "we are going to enforce a weight restriction"

Kpl info: Manish has blasted the Knighton Oval groundsman for creating an unplayable surface for this week's KPL.

"It required no skill .I had to check with the Umpire if we were here to play baseball rather than cricket.I know the Knighton Oval were ground sharing. But this week we were supposed to play cricket, not baseball.Perhaps Mitesh said the wrong sport to his groundsman in sign language. I apologise to the fans,if Mitesh won't. This is a disgrace," said Manish chewing his paan as if it was rolling around in a cement mixer.
